Sometimes late at night, Eric Mark Hendrickson likes to write songs about his kids, sing music by Coldplay or Billy Crockett or Andy Irvine, or reorganize his CD collection. During the day, he enjoys putting together innovative church services that combine varied musical styles, art, poetry, media & drama.
Eric studied Piano Performance and Music Composition at California State University, Fullerton, where he received his Bachelor of Music. He maintained a private piano studio for ten years, while directing music part time at Diamond Bar Community Church and accompanying and performing with various choirs and music groups.
He is currently Worship Pastor at Garden Grove Church of the Nazarene, where he directs the band and choirs, coordinates services, and encourages others to develop and grow musically and spiritually. He performs with new music groups, including the Paul Bailey Ensemble. Eric loves to share music with kids and is currently teaching music to his son's kindergarten class. When time permits, Eric indulges in his passion: performing his original songs for an interested audience.
